Meet the Chicest On-the-Rise Duo in Music

Memorize this name: Lion Babe. Comprised of singer Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman, the musical duo is set to take over the fashion industry. Hervey, who you may know as the daughter of Vanessa Williams, was recently tapped by H&M to sing a cover of "She's a Lady" in the brand's new fall commercial. The video also stars the likes of Lauren Hutton, model Adwoa Aboah, Pernille Teisbaek, and a slew of others.

To get the scoop on the exciting commercial, we went straight to Hervey herself. "It was awesome to know that H&M was looking to really celebrate the complexities of women, and to make the song and message of 'She's a Lady' more contemporary and powerful," Hervey toldBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing . "It's a universal message and they continue to make clothes that are affordable and comfortable."

Hervey also revealed her thoughts on being part of such an inclusive campaign. "It goes hand in hand with what we are creating with in Lion Babe: embracing your uniqueness and allowing yourself to love and accept that we are all experiencing life together," she told us. "It means a lot to be included with ladies who are out there shining because of their particular voice, their aura, and their energy."

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
