This Mango Jumper Is Trending, and It Looks So Expensive
Every once in a while the high street delivers a design that stops us in our tracks—be it a showstopping summer frock or enviable pair of boots. In previous years jumpers rarely fell under the cult item category, but this season we have already seen a fair few affordable knits stealing the spotlight. Forget power suits, because the power jumper is having a moment.
The best of the bunch, however, has to be Mango's cable knit sweater, which comes with a very '80s twist. Spotted on the likes of Pernille Teisbaek and Erika Boldrin, this statement look might be rendered in classic beige, but the supersized shoulders and oversized silhouette are anything but boring.
We love how Erika has styled hers with a flowy pleated midi and low heels, but contrastingly, it looks just as good with bleached denim and layered over a denim shirt a la Pernille. Personally, I'm obsessing over the way they've styled it on the site: tucked into a pair of high-waisted white jeans and cinched with a black belt. Divine. Style Notes: Pernille is weekend-ready in this low-key and cool jeans-and-jumper ensemble.
