Zoe Kravitz has a curated set of piercings from Maria Tash.

Lucky for the British crowds, Maria has set up a pop-up shop in London department store Liberty, which will be open until 28 February. So before you rush over (yes, walk-ins are accepted!), we grilled the leading lady on what the new trends are to keep your lobes looking on point! Keep scrolling to see your future bling plan…

1. Asymmetry is getting more adventurous.

"We are seeing more people embrace asymmetry and multiple-lobe and cartilage piercings. People do not feel they have to have matching first-hole studs or matching first-lobe rings. There seems to be an embrace of treating each earlobe piercing as its own autonomous vehicle to adorn. As a result, you will see fine gold chains weaved through second and third hole piercings and different metal colours of rings in different earlobe piercings." — Maria Tash

2. Diamond studs are as small as possible.

"Very tiny diamond studs in unusual parts of the ear are also popular, which creates an unexpected tiny flash of light in hidden areas of the ear. Almost all of the earrings in our store can be purchased singly, and we have specially designed long-term wear, threaded studs as well as singly sold traditional studs. We are also seeing the return, in a more elegant form, of multiple rings going up the lobe to cartilage." — Maria Tash

3. Alternative metals and stones are key.

"Rose gold continues to be strong, and the fashion set loves black rhodium gold with white and coloured diamonds." — Maria Tash
