I Recommend These M&S Jeans to Everyone I Know—Here's How I Wear Them In Spring
If you haven't already discovered how great Marks and Spencer's jeans are, let us be the ones to introduce you. As well as offering an affordable way to update your denim collection, the high-street hero's jeans impressively come in five (yes, five!) different leg lengths—extra short, short, regular, tall and extra tall—so whatever your height, you'll find a pair that hits your ankles at just the right spot. Particular highlights included the new wide legs and the flattering slim-fit jeans—skinnies are back, by the way—but there is one style that takes the crown as the best pair of jeans to slot into your everyday wardrobe. In our opinion, has totally nailed the straight-leg shape.
And here's the best bit: there's not just one, but two cuts to choose from. The more affordable pair, at just £23, features a mid-rise waist and a bit of stretch. The other is a little pricier at £45, but it is made from slightly sturdier denim. Personally, I like a high waist, so the latter pair has won me over, but it really depends on your preferences.
There's also a range of wearable washes available, each of which opens up a whole new set of outfit options. To demonstrate, I've rounded up my five go-to looks for you to recreate, all involving these versatile straight-leg jeans—alongside some more M&S hero buys, of course.
1. Trench Coat + Striped Tee + Flats
Style Notes: When I think of ecru jeans, I instantly envisage wearing them at the weekend with a Breton T-shirt and trench coat. Elevated with some designer-looking jewellery, of course.

I immediately added this brown update on the Breton top to my basket.
The perfect length to show off a good shoe.
2. Knit Vest + T-shirt + Trainers
Style Notes: The easiest look to copy, the knit vest over T-shirt with jeans never fails. I love to liven it up with the addition of colourful trainers (a key trend this year) and an even brighter bag.
Shop the Look:
3. Leather Jacket + Waistcoat + Bright Heels
Style Notes: Rich indigo jeans always look premium, so they're an easy win to wear for a dinner date. Add a simple waistcoat, bright heels and this expensive-looking contrast bag to complete the vibe.

4. Bandeau Top + Hair Clip + Heeled Sandals
Style Notes: The perfect shade of blue jeans to either dress up with a 'nice top' and heeled sandals for, say, a brunch or night out. Or, you could equally just add trainers and a sweater for running errands.
Shop the Look:
If you like the roll-up look, opt for a longer length than you'd usually go for.
M&S has so many amazing buckled shoes right now, but I love this colour the most.
5. Shirt Over Vest + Basket Bag + Sandals
Style Notes: The vest top and linen shirt duo is bound to be your best friend all season. You might want to roll up the hem of these classic boyfriend jeans with flat sandals even if it is just to show them off.

The vest tops are always good quality at M&S.
