Kaia Gerber Wore the Affordable Flats Trend That's So Chic With Short Dresses

I love a relatable celebrity outfit, and Kaia Gerber is one celebrity who has plenty up her sleeve, as her street style has proven time and again. One relatable item she wears often is flats, so she's a good person to look to if you're curious about what the latest flat-shoe trends are.

Recently, while out in L.A., Gerber wore a pair of Dôen Mary Janes with a minidress (also by Dôen), and the look was as simple as can be but also very chic. It's not surprising that Mary Janes have made a comeback, as they're adjacent to ballet flats, and we've all been talking about the impending return of that trend (shout-out to Miu Miu). Also, Gerber isn't alone—Zoë Kravitz is another sartorially influential celebrity who has been wearing Mary Janes recently.

Short hemlines are everywhere this season, so if you've been looking for ways to make mini lengths a little more low-key, I strongly suggest getting a pair of Mary Janes. And while there are plenty of designer versions to choose from via The Row, Manolo Blahnik, and Prada, to name a few, there are also many chic and more affordable options on the market.
