Meghan Markle Wore an Ethical Australian Brand for Her First Sydney Appearance
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have stepped out in Sydney for a welcome event at Admiralty House for their first official appearance on their 16-day royal tour. It marks the first time Meghan has stepped out since yesterday's announcement that the couple is expecting their first child.
We anticipated that Meghan would champion local Australian designers during her time Down Under, and her first outfit did not disappoint. Sydney's feeling its first rays of sunshine in what feels like weeks, and Meghan's white column dress, by Sydney-based ethical label Karen Gee, couldn't be more fitting. She paired the look with nude suede pumps, a chunky bangle, butterfly earrings, and later in the day added a beige trench and aviators to brave the weather.
If you haven't heard of Karen Gee before, the brand is renowned for its signature structured dresses, flattering cuts, and flawless silhouettes. Each piece is made-to-order for each individual at its HQ in Sydney and can be customised to suit customer's requirements. You can almost tell Meghan's dress was tailor made, as it fits her body perfectly.
