From Us to You: The Ultimate Un-Monday Playlist
Though it sounds oxymoronic, we often turn to music to help silence the noise. Whether we need to hit the ground running at work, need a slow, mellow accompaniment to our morning tea, or just need an unbiased friend to take with us through our emotions—the cathartic effect of music never misses a beat. In fact, it’s been scientifically proven to help improve our mood.
And while we have a long, running list of coping mechanisms for when life starts to get sticky, an up-lifting playlist is a constant, something we can enjoy and breathe into during both the best and worst days. Inspired by our most recent case of the Sunday scaries, we put our heads together to come up with a “playlist of all playlists” to hopefully un-Monday your Monday with some of our editors’ favorite songs.
From monotonous morning commutes to that inevitable 3 p.m. crash (when your brain feels like it can’t and won’t go on), these are the songs Byrdie HQ has on replay. Keep reading for our official Un-Monday Your Monday Playlist.

For special occasions or days when she's taking more meetings or has an event, she'll wear anything and everything from Charlotte Tilbury (the foundations are game-changing), some shimmer on her lids (Stila and Róen do it best), and a few coats of the best mascara-type product on earth, Surratt's Noir Lash Tint.
