These 2 Retailers Are Officially Winning Instagram
Who are your favorite retailers and brands to follow on Instagram? Well, if new data is any indication, there are two that probably top your list: Adidas and ASOS.
WWD reported on a study conducted by marketing company Tribe Dynamics, which revealed that Adidas's Instagram is dominating the non-luxury brand category, while ASOS wins in the third-party retailer category. So what exactly factored into these results? WWD explained: "The reports analyze retailer and brand performance by their assigned metric of Earned Media Value, which quantifies the estimated value of publicity gained through digital earned media and its respective engagement levels."
In other words, these accounts boast fans who aren't merely scrolling through their feeds—they're actively engaged in liking and sharing content, as well as purchasing items from directly from Instagram. This, you can imagine, is music to retailers' ears.
