The Fall Boot Trends NYC Girls Are Actually Wearing
Call me biased, but if you’re looking for footwear advice that perfectly tows the line between fashion-forward and practical, just ignore everyone else and leave it to NYC girls. After all, who better to test-drive trends than the style set who wears them and will walk actually around the city all day in them? As a Los Angeles to New York transplant myself, I can tell you that whole walking part really does make a difference in how you get dressed on a day to day basis. Luckily, however, just in time for fall, there are countless boot styles that make the cut for city life, and today I’m highlighting six of them. From over-the-knee to animal, see what they are (with a little help from Instagram) and shop my picks for each below.
Embossed
Whether or not they were expensive, they'll look like it.
Hiker
These will also come in handy when winter rolls around.
Western
This trend doesn't seem to be going away any time soon and, as you can see, I'm pleased.
Over-the-Knee
Practical and party-ready.
Animal Print
There's nothing that's not better in animal print this season.
Mid-Calf
Somewhere between an ankle boot and a knee boot.
