Today is the day: The 90th Academy Awards are here, and this will undoubtedly be a year to remember. With a number of groundbreaking films in the running, and Australia's own Margot Robbie up for nomination, hoping to take home the best actress award in her latest film I, Tonya, this year's Oscars ceremony is sure to be exciting.
Almost as exciting as the awards themselves? The red carpet. As much as we love the actual event, there's no denying that the Oscars red carpet is something special in its own right. Always elegant, we were not let down this year. While the gowns and jewellery were enough to blow us away, we were also happy to see activism appear yet again in the outfits celebrities chose.
While the black dresses donned at the Golden Globes and BAFTAs supported the Time's Up movement, we still saw a number of the pins floating around. While we do appreciate the message behind the movement, we were glad to see a wider ranger of colours and styles at this awards show. After all, there's nothing like an Oscar's red carpet.
