Up next, we’re getting to know the new ambassador for and investor in Viome—a precision health and wellness company—Paris Hilton. As a fellow beauty enthusiast, she’s answering all of our rapid-fire questions and sharing her best-kept beauty secrets below. Enjoy!
If you had to leave the house in five minutes, what are a few staple beauty products you’d quickly apply or bring with you?
I would bring my lip gloss and my Viome supplements because they’re tailor-made with all of the nutrients I need to be my healthiest, and they also give me a lot of energy and boost cellular health, which I love. I would also grab my Paris Hilton mascara and my new Paris Hilton fragrance called Ruby Rush ($70).
Let’s rewind to the lip gloss. Do you have a favorite?
Yes—I love Mac’s Lipglass in Prrr ($19).
What about skincare? Can you walk me through your morning and evening regimens?
So every morning, I use U Beauty’s The Barrier Bioactive Treatment ($198)—you can use it as a mask or a moisturizer, and the formula is inspired by the immortal jellyfish, and it basically reverses aging in your skin. It’s really, really amazing technology. So I love using that, and then I love using the Omnilux LED Face Mask ($395). I love to use Dr. Barbara Sturm’s serums and lotion. And then I use my Foreo Iris ($139), which is an under-eye massager, so if you have any puffiness, it really takes care of that. But yeah, I love skincare.
That actually segues into my next question because you have amazing skin and have access to or have tried probably every type of product and heard every type of beauty advice under the sun. Do you have any tips or tricks that you feel have made the biggest difference in your skin’s health and appearance?
For me, if I have something like a photo shoot coming up, I like to take a big bowl and put ice and water in it and then just put my face in it for like 30 seconds at a time. It really helps me feel refreshed and makes your skin look beautiful and less puffy. And then one of the biggest things that has made a difference in my skin is the food I eat—I really believe outer beauty starts from within, so I’ve been using Viome’s nutrition recommendations to feel my healthiest, eating lots of superfoods, and then also taking their supplements, which has just made such a difference.
Oh my god, I love it, and I’m honestly so jealous [laughs]. I know you touched on this earlier, but you’ve recently become an ambassador for and an investor in the precision health wellness company Viome. What sparked that relationship?
For me, I became friends with the founder, and it really just came about naturally once I learned more about what he was doing. I want to invest in different companies that really align with what I’m doing, and I wanted to partner with a company that has the same mission as me and is a game changer for personalized health. I just think their process and technology is really next-level, and that’s why I was really excited to join as an investor and as an ambassador, to help further the mission of tackling chronic disease, cancer, and aging. I want everyone to be able to live their best life and feel as healthy as possible, so I was excited to join this company. I use it, I do it, and its really just made such a difference and positive change in my life, so I wanted to be a more integral part of it.
You mentioned the nutrition recommendations and supplements earlier, but can you go into more detail about how you’ve incorporated Viome into your own wellness routine and what differences you’ve noticed?
I rely daily on my Viome supplements because, like I mentioned, they’re specifically formulated with the exact vitamins and minerals that I need. I’m also sticking to the Viome food recommendations—which ones I should minimize, what I should try to avoid, which foods are my personal superfoods—and I just really think I’ve been feeling and looking my best ever since I started. I feel so healthy and have way more energy. I’ve learned so much—like, one type of vegetable can be really healthy and great for one person, and then it can actually not be so great for another person. So it’s been interesting to find out exactly what type of body type that I had for certain types of foods.
Yeah, that’s fascinating. Everyone is so different. And so this is all based on blood testing that Viome does?
Yes, you do an at-home test, and then you send it in, and they get back to you with your results and the supplements that they recommend. It’s such an easy process, and it’s great because it just takes all of the guesswork out of it. You’re only taking what you really need, and it’s all made custom for you.
I’ve definitely been in that place where I’m going to different specialists or doctors to try to get answers and they’re running different tests and making different recommendations. It’s nice how streamlined the process is with this.
Yes!
So what does a typical day look like for you in terms of wellness? Workouts, meals or snacks, wind-down rituals, any of that?
Well [laughs] like I said, I like to go to my spa at my house—I love to be in there. It just helps me relax and gives me energy. It’s something really easy for me to do since it’s right downstairs. For exercise, I don’t go to a gym or anything like that—I like to be outdoors, hiking with my dogs or going surfing or skiing. I love doing sports. And then at night, to help me relax, I like to get a massage and listen to this thing called Liquid Mind on Spotify that is just this music that really relaxes your mind [laughs]. I take my R3set supplements ($13) at night as well, which help me fall and stay asleep.
I’m completely obsessed with sleep playlists, so I need to try Liquid Mind. I’m looking it up on Spotify now [laughs].
Yeah, it’s really good. Really, really good. Massages too—I love it.
In terms of wellness and health, is there anything you wish you had known or done differently when you were younger?
I wish that there was the science back then that we have now. I mean, I wish I could have just known all of this. I was eating things, you know, that weren’t superfoods [laughs] or that I should have actually been avoiding, which I didn’t even know about. So I wish I just knew everything that I know about today. There’s a lot of misleading information on the internet, and I don’t know. Beauty really is from within. And that’s just something that I’ve really learned over time, taking care of myself, eating the right things, taking the right supplements. Viome puts a lot of focus on anti-aging, and I find that really interesting. There are certain lifestyle things like supplements and foods that can help slow internal aging, and that knowledge is power.
Completely! Okay, last question. What’s your Unfiltered beauty philosophy in seven words or fewer?
Okay. Let me think. I believe that beauty is really on the inside, and if you are kind and have a big heart, your beauty will shine through.
