Hailey Bieber Wore the Pants Trend Fashion Girls Are Skipping Jeans For

Hailey Bieber (née Baldwin) has been quite busy lately, which translates to lots of outfits needed and lots of style inspiration provided to the world as a result. Bieber stepped out in multiple looks in NYC over the weekend, and not one of them included jeans. Present and accounted for were leggings, baggy trousers, and one fashion girl favorite trend in particular: patent leather pants.

Leather pants have long been a favorite of celebrities, with It girls like Kaia Gerber and Olivia Palermo wearing them on repeat this time of year, but patent is an even fresher style, and Baldwin joins the many fashion insiders and fellow directional celebrities like Elsa Hosk and Halsey. Patent leather (or vinyl, the more affordable but equally cool alternative) pants are a versatile swap to make when you want to kick things up a notch or simply need a break from denim.

Keep scrolling to see how Bieber (get used to it) and her fellow fashion girls styled the trend and to shop it for yourself.
