The Best Spring Trends for Short Girls, According to a Short Girl

In a world of oversize, maxi, and layered fashion trends galore, it can be tricky to find what works for someone with a petite frame. I consider myself a bit of an expert at dealing with the woes that come with being 5'2", like having to hem clothing items and the dismay when a product comes in the mail and looks nothing like it did on the 5'9" model. But aside from that, it can be pretty simple, I promise. If you don't find it as easy, no need to fret because that's where I come into play.

Today's discussion of petite fashion? Spring trends. Here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing we've covered a lot of what's new in fashion, but I decided to make a list of trends that seem like they'd be most flattering on those with shorter heights. If you're also in the market to upgrade your wardrobe for the new season but are debating what trends are worth it, then keep scrolling.

Corset Sillhouette

I'm sure you've already seen us mention corsets quite a bit on this site, but the hype is real. Whether it's an actual corset or the silhouette of the cinched waist, I'm 100% down with it.

Cropped Cardigans

This is a fall trend that I'm glad is trickling into spring weather with more lightweight versions. I love a good cocoon cardigan, but I've always felt like cropped versions have just been overall looked more flattering on me.

Chunky Loafers

As much as I've tried, I can't get behind flat loafers (or flat shoes, in general, as a slight heel is needed for me). I recently purchased a chunky pair and they not only look more fashion-forward but also give the height I want.

Flatforms

Like I said before, any additional height is necessary. I'm beyond happy the '90s platforms are back in style so I can channel my inner Lizzie McGuire.

Pleats

Not only do pleats look luxe while also providing comfort, the vertical lines of the design just end up making you look taller than you actually are.

Relaxed Jeans

I originally thought this trend wouldn't work for me, but after trying more relaxed versions of jeans instead of the baggier versions, I think I've found my new favorite style of denim.

Mini Skirts

Instead of midi skirts, try miniskirts, as some of them have the perfect cut to lengthen your legs. They were spotted all over the runways for this season, so it's definitely a trend to try out if you're comfortable.
