If the thought of wearing jeans during this time of social distancing gives you pause, the return of one of the most comfortable denim trends on the planet is upon us, and Hilary Duff just proved it splendidly. Earlier this week, Duff was spotted in her neighborhood with her family wearing loose ripped jeans, which have been due for a comeback, if you ask us. This time around, instead of the heavily ripped jeans that were popular in years past, celebs like Duff, Bella Hadid, and Chrissy Teigen have been choosing ripped jeans with slits at the hems instead of up and down the entire legs. The look gives more of an authentic vintage feel, like the rips might've appeared with wear.

To complete the look, Duff paired the ripped jeans with another trend: a sweater set. She completed the look with plenty of jewelry and a pair of flat leather sandals. It's an outfit that you could easily put together when you're working (or lounging) from home and craving a day (or even just an hour) without sweatpants. Scroll on to shop Duff's chic casual look and some of our favorite pairs of ripped jeans.
