Rochelle Humes Manages to Find the Most Expensive-Looking High-Street Pieces
Is it just me, or is Rochelle Humes knocking it out of the park with her outfits at the moment? The multi-hyphenate talent has been filling in for Holly Willoughby on ITV's This Morning of late, and I'm now finding myself waiting in anticipation to see what she'll wear next. This is made all the more exciting as she tends to find the very best pieces on the high street to inform her daily, on-screen wares, meaning that if I like what I see, then it's likely going to be affordable.
If you too want to dress as chicly as Humes does each morning, I've broken down her latest looks for you below. You're welcome. However, with my interest piqued, I was also keen to find out how Rochelle Humes manages to find time to track down her expensive-looking high-street pieces. Surely, she has the same number of hours in the day as the rest of us.
Well, as it happens, Humes has a little help in the form of This Morning's fashion editor, Amber Jackson, who documents Humes's and her own impressive outfits via Instagram. Humes and Jackson collaborate closely to perfect her ensembles ahead of going live at 10 a.m. in what proves to be a match made in styling heaven. So how do they decide what makes the cut?
"We tend to opt for smart separates in a neutral palette, occasionally injecting a pop of colour," explains Jackson. "Knitted dresses have also become a go-to. Teamed with a knee-high boot, they look great on Rochelle and are comfortable to wear for the whole show. Rochelle tends to gravitate away from bold print, florals or frills, so instead, we opt for tailored, structured pieces that look sharp on-screen."
Rochelle Humes wears a ribbed dress from Marks and Spencer (£35).
"We've worked together on This Morning for the last five years, so I know what she likes and what works well," Jackson continues. "I carefully curate a rail of stylish staples and versatile key pieces—think of it as a capsule wardrobe. I gravitate towards high-street pieces that have a premium edge. My fail-safes for Rochelle are heeled mules from ASOS, tailored trousers from River Island, leather pieces from Mango and knitted dresses from Zara. I like the accessibility of the high street, as everyone wants a piece of Rochelle's style. However, I've also introduced her to some lesser-known brands; Marcéla London and Source Unknown, for example.
"When it comes to styling for on-screen, we tend to avoid black and busy prints. Polka dots, checks and stripes don't work well, as they 'strobe' and are therefore uncomfortable for the viewer to look at. Also, outfits need to look good from all angles: from sitting on the sofa to spinning the Spin to Win wheel! And don't get me started on where the mic pack goes… Let's just say there's a lot to think about. Two and a half hours of live TV is a long time, and therefore, the outfits need to look as good at the end of the show as they do at the beginning—so a non-crease material is essential."
There you have it! Thankfully, you don't need to put nearly as much effort into selecting your favourite Rochelle Humes pieces as Jackson does, as I've curated them for you below. Enjoy!
1. SOURCE UNKNOWN TOP + RIVER ISLAND TROUSERS + ASOS SHOES
Humes taps into 2022’s cargo-trouser trend, giving it a cool spin with bright-green mules.

2. MARKS AND SPENCER DRESS + SOSANDAR BOOTS
This M&S dress is a winner in every sense—although I love Humes’s colour choice, it also comes in black, cream and blue if the green isn’t for you.

3. 4TH RECKLESS BLAZER + TROUSERS
Now here’s the sleek tailoring Jackson mentioned. Although Humes’s exact blazer sold out at lightning speed, I’m into this option from the same brand.

4. ASOS TOP + TOPSHOP SKIRT
Turns out Humes is just as much of a fan of the slip skirt as we are—this checked Topshop style is perfect.

5. ASOS TROUSERS
Leather trousers are trending in a big way right now, so naturally, Humes is already wearing them.

6. HOUSE OF CB DRESS + CARDIGAN + ASOS SHOES
This cardigan-and-dress combination looks so much more expensive than its price tag alludes. I’ve also seen her wear these ASOS sandals repeatedly.

7. WAREHOUSE KNIT
A look that can carry you from work to dinner to weekend cocktails. Humes’s Mango faux-leather trousers are long gone thanks to her wearing them on the show, but I’ve found a great alternative. Thankfully, her retro-inspired knit is still in stock.

8. ZARA DRESS
Beyond elegant, Humes’s knitted dress and snake-print knee boots are a look I want to re-create immediately.
