Jacey Duprie is a digital entrepreneur and pioneer. She has been at the forefront of the social-influencer phenomenon, setting industry standards and paving the road for others to follow. You likely know her as the face behind the fashion-and-lifestyle brand Damsel in Dior, where she has garnered the attention of over two million monthly viewers across various social media platforms, and her personal Instagram has over a half million followers. For over a decade, she has developed every aspect of Damsel in Dior, from starting as a blog in 2009 to landing major brand-ambassador partnerships and being featured in publications like Vogue, Vanity Fair, and Architectural Digest.
Duprie has continued to pivot and evolve her role as a social influencer by embracing new partnerships, including the most recent announcement that she would become creative director for Wyeth, a new fashion brand opening at Platform in Culver City, Los Angeles, this fall. And that’s not all—she is releasing a new book, Liking Myself Back, on June 7, where she delves into her self-made success as a modern digital entrepreneur and the lessons she learned along the way. Duprie is also an investor in brands she truly believes in, including 1212, MiniBloom, StackTek, Klimon, Kinjabang Noodles, and vacation home rental properties in Lake Arrowhead and Aspen.
Yet before she became one of today’s top fashion-and-lifestyle influencers, she actually began her career at StyleChicago.com prior to moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment. There, she worked for E! Entertainment and as the second assistant to television-and-film producer Brian Grazer at Imagine Entertainment. Listen to Wholesale Replica Bag episode of Second Life to hear how Duprie paved her own path within the digital space by finding the courage to leave a career in entertainment to focus on a fashion blog—one that would ultimately make her an industry pioneer.
