Leave it to Selena Gomez to pull off the best Risky Business outfit before it's even October. The Only Murders in the Building actress shared a mirror selfie from her hotel room, showing off her legs in a pair of statuesque over-the-knee boots and a fitted white shirtdress.

Styled by Erin Walsh, the outfit is almost deceptively simple—just the shirt and boots, no pants—but made for excellent evening attire with the addition of some simple, everyday gold jewelry from Gomez's favorite designers.

While the pants-less look isn't for everyone, this outfit illustrates the importance of choosing the right proportions from head to toe.
