Selena Gomez Just Designed the New White Sneakers You'll Wear 24-7

Puma just unveiled the first sneakers that brand ambassador Selena Gomez designed, and it was definitely worth the wait. Dubbed the Phenon Luxe, the white sneakers come with a removable leather anklet—how cool is that? Plus, Gomez wants you to style her new sneakers in a very specific way: with the matching transparent windowpane socks she also designed. Both the sneakers and the socks will be available on Puma's website on April 6.

And that's just the tip of the iceberg. Per the press release, "The Phenom Lux and socks will benefit the Lupus Research Alliance, the world's leading private funder of Lupus research, which fosters scientific advancement by pushing limits and shepherding new discoveries into potential treatments with the ultimate goal of finding a cure for Lupus."

Naturally, Gomez is proud of both the shoes and the cause they support. "It's been really fun to work so closely with Puma on the design of this shoe," Gomez said in a statement. "I'm also proud to partner with them in helping to affect lives and bring attention to a cause that is very important to me personally." Read on to preview the designs before the April 6 launch date.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
