5 Shoe Trends I'm Wearing Now and Into the Fall
In true fashion editor form, I am already eyeing shoe trends that I’m seeing around me now that I think will last all the way into fall. There are some classic shoe trends we see cycle through every season like chic tall boots, loafers, and mules. But this upcoming fall I’m seeing some of the summer 2022 most loved shoe trends like platforms and y2k inspired heels make their way into our fall footwear right under our noses. Shoes are truly the cherry on top of a great look. The wrong shoes can take a look from incredible to meh, and the right pair of shoes can take even the most stunning outfit to the next level. 5 shoe trends are standing out to me as we enter into the last month of summer and gear up for fall.
Check out which trends I’m eyeing and which pairs of shoes are sitting in my cart as we speak.
Knee High Boots
Knee high boots are great all year round but are an absolute must when it comes to fall. You can style them with a great knit dress, the right pair of skinny jeans, or a mini skirt and tights. I love how I feel when I’m wearing a knee high boot, I feel ultra stylish and confident.
Close Toed Mules
A closed toed mule is the ultimate understated cool shoe. They’re a great shoe for heading back into the office and can be styled multiple ways. I would wear a pair of close toed mules with straight leg jeans and a button down.
Platform Heels
What a surprise, I’m singing the praises of platform heels once again. I don’t know what it is about them but I just love how the look and how tall they make me feel. The height can look intimidating but the platform actually helps even you out with the height of the heel making it easier to walk. I’m a platform shoe girl for life.
Y2K Inspired Shoes
When it comes to Y2K aesthetic I’m so into the shoes. Heeled flip flops, sparkly detailing, butterfly motifs, you name it - I’m into it. They add a bit of fun to any look and are perfect for a party or night out.
Classic Sneakers
I’ve got to be honest I am usually a heels girl but when I do wear flats I always gravitate towards sneakers. A great pair of sneakers is a must have, I’m not really into trendy sneakers either. I always gravitate towards the more classic pairs like an all white sneaker or a classic Reebok or Converse shoe.
