Slip dresses have stood the test of time and solidified themselves as true timeless wardrobe staples. While the trendiness of slip dresses ebbs and flows like the fashion cycle itself, for fall 2022, there isn't a more on-trend piece than the slip dress—just one part of the elevated basics renaissance that is front and center in the F/W 22 collections.
While we're seeing many brands reintroduce classic silhouettes designed from silky satin, there are also many updates to the dresses worth noting for fall. Fashion is going totally transparent for fall and Fendi is just one of many brands embracing the trend. While there are practically no limits on how to wear sheer pieces right now, see-through slip dresses feel particularly fresh.
