First Katie Holmes, Now Hailey Bieber—This Denim Trend Is Happening

We haven't really had many new denim trends lately to talk about lately, if you think about it (because sweatpants), but we can always count on Hailey Bieber and Katie Holmes to make us want to wear jeans again. Luckily for us, their numerous jeans outfits are well-documented.

While heading into a studio in West Hollywood this week, Bieber wore a polished outfit combination that we've all worn before: a blazer, white T-shirt, jeans, and boots. But she wasn't wearing the usual basic skinny or straight-leg jeans. She wore a wide-leg style with tiny slits at the hem, just as Katie Holmes recently wore a skinny-leg pair with slits at the hem.

We've definitely seen this trend before, but it's been a minute, and we're into it. The #1 reason we love this denim trend is simple: You can wear pretty much any shoe style with them (although both women chose high-heel ankle boots), and if you're on the short side (like yours truly), you probably won't even need to get them hemmed. Win-win.

With that, scroll to see how Bieber and Holmes styled the trend and shop it for yourself.
