The first thing I thought when the following news landed in my inbox was Damn, that's a good collaboration. The marrying of Staud's trendsetting, colorful aesthetic and New Balance's old-school sporty one is basically a 2020 fashion girl's dream come true. When two brands that are as crazy popular as these join forces, lots of buzz and a swift sellout are basically guaranteed, especially when the collaboration is this good.

New Balance x Staud has a strong California-in-the-'80s vibe and comprises various colorways of leggings, crop tops, bike shorts, running shorts, windbreakers, a sweatshirt dress, bags, and a pair of sneakers that I instantly lost it over. And frankly, I think everyone else will too. As you probably know, New Balance sneakers are pretty much the only sneakers that matter right now among the fashion set, and the result of the brand joining forces with Staud is a pair of 997 sneakers in bright, summer-friendly shades that complement the Staud palette perfectly. The sneakers are available for preorder, with an expected ship date of August 1 through 31, but something to look forward to, right?

Scroll to shop the New Balance x Staud collaboration (all of which can be mixed and matched) before every other fashion girl in the world inevitably does.

Next up, 29 brand-new sneakers from Nike, Adidas, and more.
