As a California girl turned New Yorker, I have an everlasting love for a great pair of jeans. I have tried every denim brand you can think of, from luxe denim to classic under-$100 affordable brands, and no matter which you prefer, I think we can all agree that having an arsenal of great ways to style jeans is essential. I'm a big fan of styling denim for almost any occasion, which can be a challenge due to the casual nature of jeans, but there are so many ways to make a great pair of jeans feel elevated and chic. Whether you love to wear jeans to the office with a killer blouse and pumps or you're more the type who loves to pair jeans with their coolest pair of sneakers and a bold knit, you'll love these five ways to style jeans.

This look, to me, is a no-brainer. Pairing your favorite pair of jeans with a bold sweater or cardigan is the perfect cozy yet chic vibe. I love how Claire styled this baby-blue knit sweater with jeans and sneakers. It just screams cool, casual, and chic.

Trench Coat + Baby Tee + Hat

This type of ensemble is what I reach for when I'm looking for a cool and casual look that still feels stylish. These DL 1961 straight-leg jeans are the style of jeans that I love. They're relaxed without being loose, so I wear them all the time. This hat from Rowing Blazers is the real star of the show, but this black faux-leather trench and baby tee add a bit of coolness to the look. I recommend this combo for the weekend.
