6 Stylish Outfit Formulas From Instagram I Can't Wait to Re-Create This Winter

When I'm not scouring all of our most loved retailers looking for the best of the best out there to share with you guys, I'm usually on Instagram double-tapping and saving outfit ideas to re-create for myself and write about. After all, great outfit inspiration is meant to be shared. I've mentioned before that I don't love dressing for winter, but as I find more and more chic winter outfit ideas, I'm slowly changing my tune and warming up to the idea that dressing for winter may not be as bad as I'm making it out to be. On my latest deep dive through IG, I found six winter outfits that are easy to re-create and incorporate items I already have in my wardrobe.

Keep scrolling to see the six on-trend outfits I'm bookmarking to re-create this season.

LBD + Tights + White Coat

This look is the definition of simple but effective. There is something so sophisticated and chic about a black-and-white outfit, especially a classic little black dress topped off with elegant white outerwear. This outfit very much screams "Upper East Side chic" when paired with the right tights and loafers or pumps. I'd top this ensemble off with a dainty watch and pretty pearl earrings.

Long Coat + Button-Down + Loafers + Leather Belt

I'm filing this outfit under "easy, polished work outfits for winter." Long coats just look so professional and stylish. I have three, and I can't wait to style them all exactly like the photo above. A classic button-down shirt has been a workplace staple forever, and I love the ease of pairing it with just trousers or a pair of jeans and then dressing it up with a leather belt and chic shoes.

Miniskirt + Leopard-Print Coat

Leopard has always had a special place in my heart, but I especially love it during the wintertime. A good animal-printed coat has such a fun Samantha Jones like vibe that I adore. Pair with a miniskirt, tights, and your choice of shoes. Though, I highly recommend going the route of ballet flats or knee-high boots. I'm loving this look for a winter night out or dinner date.

Sweaterdress + Faux-Fur Coat + Heeled Boots

Faux-fur lovers everywhere are rejoicing that it is finally cold enough to pull out their loved coats from over the years and add a new one to their outerwear collection. Puffer coats are great, but when I want to look a little more dressed up without sacrificing warmth, I reach for a faux fur. Plus, you just look rich while wearing one. I styled my Abercrombie cropped faux-fur jacket with a knit dress from H&M and boots from Dolce Vita (all linked below) for high tea with my family.

Faux-Leather Trench + Denim + Baseball Cap

Meet my new winter weekend uniform. I am a huge hat lover, so whenever I can work one into an outfit, odds are I'm going to. I loved how easy but still super put-together this outfit feels. It's perfect for grabbing brunch, running errands, or going on a low-key coffee date. You'll be seeing me running around downtown Manhattan in this outfit for sure.

Shearling Jacket + Leggings + Tall Boots

I don't know about you, but I can't get enough of these shearling jackets. They look so fashionable and elevated. I am way overdue on getting my hands on one. I love how they really take a pair of leggings to the next level. An item you may normally think of as a lazy-day pick just got a whole lot dressier.
