Similar to updating your playlists on Spotify, occasionally the mood strikes to freshen my Instagram with different perspectives. In an attempt to widen my bubble, I decided to pull together some new favorites from all different parts of the country. I found a handful of girls from the Lisa Says Gah blog, where they have been cataloging under-the-radar cool girls for a long time, along with a few I had hiding in my feed to share in case you’d like to do the same. Since I’m already pretty adept at finding and following my favorite bloggers, I figured I’d focus on women from different parts of the fashion, art, and music world today instead. Ahead: eight inspiring women who have feeds worth a follow.

Lucia Zolea: Hampton, Virginia

As it so happens, photographer and vintage curator are two professions that go insanely well together. That's Virginia-based Lucia Zolea in a nutshell. Her namesake vintage store has steadily gained a fashion following, and I think her dreamy photography aesthetic has a lot to do with that.

TyLynn Nguyen: Los Angeles, California

Nguyen is the kind of woman I want to grow up to be. Except we're essentially the same age. The lingerie designer and mother of three has style in spades. None of her outfits are ever trying too hard, and she has an ease of dressing reminiscent of old Céline.

Cecilia Gorgon: Ann Arbor, Michigan

Gorgon is an art student in Michigan who was scouted by Glossier to be in one of its brand campaigns. In an era of overwrought Instagram accounts, hers feels like a breath of fresh unstudied air. We're especially taken with her film shots from time she spent in Japan.

Anabella Anger: Portland, Oregon

The Portland-based artist has a feed that feels like her window into the world. Although she has more photos of her environment than peeks at her personal style, when she does post an image of herself, I always find it particularly pleasing.

Jaffrene Islam: Dallas, Texas

Islam founded The Lounge Cat, a self-described "concept store focusing on merging contemporary vintage with one of a kind jewelry and art." Naturally, her job lends itself to owning and photographing vintage spoils, so her feed is full of her personality-packed finds.

Semaj: San Francisco, California

You may recognize Semaj as the model du jour over at Lisa Says Gah. When she's not posing in front of the lens, she spends her time at the Roxie Theater doing projection and concessions. Her unique style is hard to categorize, but perhaps that's exactly what makes it so compelling.

Anastasia: Orem, Utah

You may recognize Anastasia from a recent Premme shoot that will go down as one of my favorite brand campaigns ever. The Utah-based model is a smart follow because she catalogs her best shopping finds (many are affordable!) on her Insta.

Amrit: New York, New York

Amrit was born in Australia but now lives in New York, where she DJs for major fashion brands and works as a creative consultant. I follow her feed for her fresh take on trend-driven style.
