My Summer Wardrobe Consists of Just These Pieces
Now that we're in August we're in full-on summer mode. But don't fret if you think you've missed out on the best summer clothes, especially if you've seen all the sales going on, as there are plenty of incredible warm weather-friendly pieces to pick up. In fact, if you've not had the changes to hone your warm-weather capsule, then now is the time to discover the pieces that really matter for your wardrobe when the temperature starts to heat up. Whether that's for your holiday packing list, a great outfit for the weekend or even the office, there are some key items that everyone needs in their summer closet.
To help you identify exactly what you need to navigate the next couple of months in serious style, I've whittled down nine key buys that come with influencer approval as standard.
Style Notes: Faithfull the Brand's linen jumpsuit was a must-have amongst the style set last summer, and for 2019 its floral all-in-one is set to be just as iconic. Look for relaxed silhouettes and '60s-esque prints to nail the Ibiza-ready vibe.

Style Notes: Stripes are a sartorial mainstay, but in summer they're given a pastel overhaul to create the sunseeker stripe. Reminiscent of deckchairs, wear yours with white accessories for a fresh finish.

Style Notes: Basket bags have had a bit of an upgrade this season with jewels and shells. Invest in one of these key styles or, if you're feeling crafty, try upgrading a plain style from last year by sticking on some gems of your own.

Style Notes: You heard it here first—maxi skirts are making a comeback. Banish all hippy connotations by investing in a style with a matching crop top.
Style Notes: Anklets were high on the sartorial agenda last year, but now the chunky shell styles of 2018 are being replaced by simple chain iterations.
