I Thought I Had No Clothes, But I Own Everything I Need for These 9 Summer Looks
I know firsthand that there's nothing more annoying than being challenged after saying (or yelling), "I have nothing to wear," but I'm sorry—I must tell you that I'm here today to do just that. Even though I'm constantly shopping, I too often feel like I have no clothes, and quite frankly, it makes no sense. I have countless cute pieces in my closet, and at the very least, I have enough basics to put together summer outfit after summer outfit. What I lack at times, I realized, is the creativity or inspiration to do so.
With that in mind, I went looking—on Instagram, of course—for outfit ideas that I knew could be replicated with clothes I already own, and honestly, it was pretty easy. After finding a plethora of looks, I narrowed down my nine favorites to share with you here today because, as always, I've got your back. To see which made the cut and shop them if you please (this is Who What Wear, after all), keep scrolling.

And don't even worry about trying to match all your colors perfectly. In fact, this look proves that it might even work better when you don't.

2. Silk Scarf + White Dress
Apparently, the simple addition of a silk scarf around your head makes your white-dress outfit 10 times chicer.

3. Tank + Slip Skirt
Tank? Check. Slip skirt? Check. Outfit? Check.
Shop the look:
4. DIY Scarf Top + Shorts
And just like that, you're transported to a tropical vacation.
Shop the look:
5. Button-Down + Matching Activewear Set
Here is your reminder that matching activewear sets always look put together, but a button-down will make your look even better.
Shop the look:
6. Muscle Tank + Trousers
This look can take you anywhere, from work to dinner to happy hour.
Shop the look:
7. Cardigan + Strappy Dress
Make any old dress feel completely new by layering a cute cardigan over it.
Shop the look:
8. Tied Button-Down + Denim Bermuda Shorts
Yes, it is that simple.

9. Blazer + Bra Top + Jeans
Pro tip: Opt for a light linen blazer to serve as the perfect topper for summer nights.

Since starting as an intern back in 2013, Nicole Akhtarzad Eshaghpour has held several roles here atBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing , and she is currently Editor-at-Large. Upon joining, she was a senior about to graduate from business school at USC. Fast-forward to 2025, and she's moved to NYC from her hometown of Beverly Hills and spends her workdays a little differently from when she was just starting out. Currently, she focuses on a weekly mélange of shopping content and her Trust Me—Buy This newsletter. As far as her personal style goes, she's largely drawn to neutral, classic pieces but will always make an exception for something colorful or bejeweled as long as it's deemed worthy enough. After all, the only thing she loves more than a party is dressing up for one. On her downtime, she can usually be found at home eating something delicious and trying to force her husband to watch Summer House.
