Could This Documentary Be the Next September Issue?
If you live for the annual Met Ball, we have good news—it’s coming a little sooner this year (sort of). As reported by Vogue, there's a new documentary in town that will make lovers of fashion very happy. The First Monday in May, filmmaker Andrew Rossi's behind-the-scenes depiction of the gala, followed Anna Wintour, Vogue Director of Special Projects Sylvana Ward Durrett, and Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute curator Andrew Bolton last year as they planned China: Through the Looking Glass. It’s sure to be a fascinating peek inside the exclusive event, and considering what a riveting subject Wintour was in 2009’s The September Issue, we expect nothing less from her in this new documentary.
