Zoë Kravitz Wore the Sandal Trend I Didn't Think Would Last This Long

Do you remember a few years ago when elevated flip-flops were considered controversial? Who What Wear editors (myself included) wrote story after story on how flip-flops were "polarizing." For this reason, I never thought they'd stick around for long. But now, we don't even blink an eye when someone is spotted wearing them. Earlier this week, Zoë Kravitz was photographed walking around New York City in flip-flops. Since Kravitz doesn't wear anything that isn't cool, what she does wear is a pretty good indicator of what's "in" and stylish. So yeah, I think it's safe to say it wouldn't be risky to order another pair of flip-flops for summer 2023. Kravitz paired her chic square-toed flip-flops with baggy trousers and a trench coat to create the perfect spring outfit if you ask me.
