Skoda shared with us some insider data on which shoes, bags, and denim trends have exploded on the site—and will only to continue to gain steam.

Snakeskin Shoes

"We really saw snakeskin-print shoes pick up, and the demand for them has grown three times since the trend initially emerged last fall," Skoda noted. "Snakeskin is the new neutral—style the print like you would a white or black boot. Elevate a floaty spring dress by pairing it with knee-high snakeskin boots then keep those boots around for the colder months to wear them with a leather pencil skirt for work."

Croc-Effect Accessories

"For croc-embossed shoes and bags, the demand has grown two times year over year, and we expect to see the trend continue throughout the rest of the year and definitely into 2020."

Strappy Sandals

According to Skoda, strappy and barely there sandals are actually a style that does well for The RealReal year-round. Since so many of the shoes that are actually from the '90s and '00s are still relevant today, people are on the hunt for the vintage versions just as much as they are for newer takes.

Pearl Jewelry

There's no doubt that pearls are having a comeback. Since last year, demand for pearl jewelry of all types has increased by 75%, Skoda told me, adding, "Heading into fall and winter, the jewelry takes on a bolder approach with oversize statement styles and multiple layers as seen on Burberry and Prabal Gurung's fall 2019 runways."

Top-Handle Bags

"Some of our most sought-after handbags are structured vintage styles. As creative directors dig deeper and deeper into their brand's archives for new inspiration, the top-handle bags that were once popular in the past are experiencing increased interest (double since last year) and demand by an entirely new generation."

Loose-Fitting Denim

"Heading into March, demand for looser-fitting denim increased month over month, so we should see this trend continue throughout the rest of year. The relaxed silhouette is ideal for easy, spring dressing and will be a go-to piece as summer slips into fall and temperatures fluctuate."

Kitten Heels

"Demand for Manolos, in particular, is up 64% year over year. In terms of comfort being such a major focus with sneakers and flats, kitten heels have been trending a lot more than stilettos."

Utility Pants

"We've seen a huge increase in demand for utility styles, so we're standing behind cargo pants as a trans-seasonal essential. Wear them now with a simple white tank and flat sandals for a look that's both effortless and pulled together. When temperatures dip, pair the pocket pants with a tonal top and cropped jacket."
