And Now, the Under-$150 Bella Hadid Approved Shoes Every NYC Person Will Own

At my preppy Midwest middle school, Uggs were everything. The classic knee-high boots were so popular that we weren't allowed to wear them during class since they were the ultimate distraction. My first experience being bullied was Ugg related as one of the girls approached me in line at lunch. She referred to my "fuggs" (aka fake Uggs) with disdain, claiming that I should've picked out a different style. Now that's a core memory.

Many years later, as the brand is returning to its peak and channeling Y2K in the format of mini Uggs with platforms, I can assure you that you won't catch me in a pair of fuggs ever again. It's rare for under-$150 shoes to catch the eyes of so many celebrities, but now that these slippers have graced the feet of Bella Hadid, they've officially reached their ultimate peak. Below, see how celebrities and fashion people are wearing Uggs lately.

This iconic "Stars—They're Just Like Us" moment will forever live in my mind rent-free. When Hadid paired two of New York's trendiest accessories out and about—Uggs and a slice of pizza—the world was never the same.

Keke Palmer's style is the definition of cool girl, so of course, she'd style Uggs with a matching denim set. This is proof that the Ultra Mini Platforms can be dressed up for a more formal occasion.

From now on, every coffee run that I go on requires an elevated loungewear set and a pair of Uggs. The way that Elsa Hosk made this look all come together with futuristic sunglasses has me hooked.

Adut Akech is the model you've seen grace nearly every runway over the past few years with her killer walk. She takes that strut to the streets wearing her Uggs with a micro miniskirt, ribbed tank top, and leather jacket. How 2023 of her.

Who says the wide-leg-trouser trend had to be worn for only formal occasions? The way Gigi Hadid styled hers with a quarter-zip sweatshirt has me convinced this wardrobe staple can be the ultimate casual piece.

I've never seen Uggs look cooler. Style them with a vintage denim skirt and logo zip-up to get the European look.

I'm all about these platform slippers that take what was formerly known as an at-home item out of the house. They're officially up next on my wish list.

Another style that has been going viral lately is these slippers that include colorful stitching. While the caramel color is the most popular, there are so many options to explore.

I never thought I'd see Uggs at the beach in a logical setting, but this look is absolute perfection. For ultimate coziness, I'll be adding leg warmers or knee-high socks to my ensemble.

Layering up is exactly what comes to mind when I think of Ugg season. Try throwing a sweater over your puffer coat to steal this style.
