5 Underrated Jewelry Brands Fashion Editors Are Obsessed With
Whether you're a minimalist, a maximalist, or somewhere in between, I think most of us would agree that the right piece of jewelry can really elevate a look. Some people gravitate toward statement necklaces to do the trick, while others prefer a sleek and simple pair of hoop earrings to complement their outfits.
With both ends of the spectrum in mind, I compiled a list of my five favorite underrated jewelry brands that my fellow fashion editors are all loving right now. Silver cuffs, gold earrings, colorful rings—you can find all of these and much more in my roundup below. And the prices are similarly diverse, with plenty of options under $200 and some investment-worthy pieces that are pure eye candy. Scroll down to shop my picks.
1. Agmes
"Combining sculptural forms and precious materials with thoughtful design and artisan craftsmanship, Agmes creates pieces that are at once distinctive and enduring," the brand's website explains. I couldn't have said it better myself. All pieces are handmade in New York City.
2. Valére
I discovered this Australian brand thanks to Moda Operandi and immediately fell in love. The brand loves to use motifs such as hearts, spirals, and crosses. Each piece is as beautiful as the next. How could I not be obsessed?
3. Faris
Founder Faris Du Graf started her jewelry line in her basement and still makes everything by hand from her team's Seattle studio. I love that the pieces are like mini works of art.
4. Ben-Amun
According to the brand's website, Egypt-born founder Isaac Manevitz "has brought his love of sculpture to his collections by working with some of the finest and most interesting materials to create unique designs that are both modern and contemporary, yet timeless."
5. Sylvia Toledano
Parisian jewelry designer Sylvia Toledano's pieces are all handmade with textured gilded brass and semi-precious stones. I'm particularly obsessed with the spiral earrings below.
Next, Anna Wintour only packed one shoe trend for all of fashion month.
Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
