The Just-Landed High-Street Collection Fashion Editors Are Losing It Over
Sponsor Content Created With Shrimps
In all honesty, fashion editors are quite jaded by designer collaborations hitting the high street. It's been a tried-and-tested retail strategy for well over a decade now, but because we've lived through so many it's rare that a new iteration can pique our interest. It's only when a pairing comes along that's so genius we're happy to change our spoilt little minds in an instant. One such thing happened a few months ago when we first heard that cult British brand Shrimps was teaming up with one of our favourite affordable stores, Warehouse on a capsule collection of summer pieces.
Hannah Weiland, the mermaid-haired designer who singlehandedly established faux-fur jackets, beaded pearl bags and crystal hair clips as surprising essentials for the hippest girls across the world, has lent her instantly recognisable brand of cuteness to a range of holiday packing items our entire team is excited about.
The collection has already been popping up on Instagram feeds ahead of its official launch today (look out for #WareShrimps if you want some further inspo), but this prep work has given us time to really evaluate which of the line we want to prioritise and buy first.
Ahead of the highly anticipated drop, I also spent a few days last week with the teams from both Warehouse and Shrimps as well as a choice selection of Europe's top influencers. It was clear that some frontrunner favourites were bubbling up via everyone's outfit choices. Here are the three trends within the impressive collection that our team are willing to elbow-jab at the virtual till for…
1. Raffia and Straw Pieces
Each summer comes around and our penchant for all things straw or raffia just gets more and more intense. Thanks to this collab, you can pick it up in everything from a natty little belt to a jewel-studded basket bag. And yes, it's entirely okay to wear it all at once.

2. Anything Green!
If you've been watching Instagram closely you'll know that shades of lime are the cool girl's answer to the pastel trend. This collection has heaps of it—from the most adorable gingham dress through to espadrilles.

3. Cute Co-Ords
I always say, when in doubt, wear a co-ords. As obvious as it sounds, this really is an "instant outfit" that always looks 100 times cooler than a dress. Fact. There are many options within the range, from the chic white crochet trousers and top through to more adventurous picnic blanket checked two-pieces.
