Amal Clooney Got the Memo on the Biggest Shoe Trend Right Now

Amal Clooney loves to have fun with fashion when she's not being a high-powered lawyer, and clearly follows the trends. And we love that about her. Such was the case while visiting her husband George Clooney on the set of his latest film Suburbicon this week. For the occasion, Amal chose a cold-shoulder mini dress and the reigning It shoe style: white shoes!

Throughout fashion month, white shoes in the form of ankle boots, mules, pumps, flats, and more could be seen on show attendees time and time again, proving that the "no white after Labor Day" adage has officially bit the dust. Clooney's white Chloé ankle boots are right in step with the trend and even have a hint of a western feel to them (another trend this fall). If you have a case of white shoe phobia, take our advice and wear them in place of your black shoes the next time you reach for those. You'll be amazed by how much more forward and fresh your outfit instantly becomes.
