Okay, if there's one person who can convince me to buy anything, it's Lauren Eggertsen. Seriously, any time I see our stylish editorial director post anything—an article on-site, an IG post, or even a link in our Slack channel—I'm instantly sold. While we were hanging out in L.A. recently, she mentioned that she's been finding a bunch of really good new pieces from COS that hit that sweet spot between effortless and on-trend. "This outfit is likely the most 'seasonal' my L.A. winter aesthetic will ever be, and that's probably why I love it so much. I have been living in relaxed trousers lately, and this pair just became my new go-to. Paired with a delicate turtleneck and a cozy, fuzzy coat, this outfit really proves it can do the most without being too fussy. It's comfortable, stylish, and filled with all the most idyllic winter pieces. The fact that this look is composed solely of 'trendy basics' is why I love it so much. Each piece feels extremely current, but they are simultaneously items I will have in my wardrobe for years to come."

"This outfit is so fun to me because it's tapping into that academic trend that, up until recently, I had been too nervous to test out. I love this pleated midi skirt so much but wanted to toughen it up a bit. Since I decided to pair the skirt with a sweater-vest, the whole ensemble was reading a tad too academic, but the lug-sole boots saved it. I love outfits that can be completely transformed with one contrasting element. It always makes a look so much more interesting."
