Zara Has Spoken: These 7 Colors Are About to Go Viral
If you want to know what's currently cool in the sartorial world, head to Zara. This fast-fashion retailer doesn't want you to have to dig or work for anything on its site. Instead, it smacks you right in the face with its newness and all its glory. Be it a new editorial campaign, popular new styles, or a new shipment of the season's hottest trends, at Zara, if you want it, you got it. Currently, the site is buzzing with tons of new spring trends, including some of the season's hottest colors, further exciting us for the day it actually feels warm enough to wear all of our spring essentials.
After scrolling through the site for even just a few minutes, it was clear there are some spring color trends Zara is loving more than others. While neutrals and neons still reign supreme in not only the Zara world but also the fashion industry as a whole, there were seven others that caught our attention, and we need you to be made aware of them. From hot, hot pinks to mellow yellows, check out the spring 2019 colors that are officially about to go viral thanks to Zara.
Electric Highlighter
This spring, we're just riding out this whole neon wave for as long as possible, and according to Zara, the It hue of the bunch is the kind that looks like it just spilled out of a highlighter pen.
Shop the trend:
Hot, Hot Pink
Anything pink that kind of reminds you of bubblegum but also looks like it belongs in the highlighter family is one you should consider adding to your cart. Wear it during the evening in the form of a sleek slip dress or during the day via a strappy sandal—whichever styling technique you choose, you're bound to be noticed.
Shop the trend:
Lime Green
Lime green, slime green—whatever you want to call it—is another one of those color waves that just won't quit. This bold hue is just the thing your 2019 spring wardrobe needs to feel fresher than your go-to florals but more subdued than a blinding neon.
Shop the trend:
Purple Palettes
Pick a shade, any shade. When it comes to purple and Zara's take on the color, all hues are welcome. Be it a purple metallic pump or a bright knit dress, this is one color family we desperately want to be a part of.
Shop the trend:
Mellow Yellow
Taking the opposite route of its attention-hungry highlighter cousin, pastel yellow is one of the most prevalent colors at Zara right now, if you ask me. Even the brand's small selection of swimwear is championing the color, and now, so are we.
Shop the trend:
Tangerine
Tangerine was spotted all over (and we mean all over) the F/W 19 runways, and Zara was kind enough to give us a sampling of the color, which is about to be everywhere in just a few months' time. Wear it on a suit or on your pumps for a pop. No matter how you style it, you'll feel springtime fresh.
Shop the trend:
Bright Blue
Bright blues are making major waves at Zara this spring. So much so that the brand thought the color was worth multiple head-to-toe looks. We love the hue in both a printed dress and a tailored suit. Pair it with denim, and you have yourself an all-blue look for the books.
