Humble Brag: Zara Let Us See Its New Collection Before Anyone Else

Not to brag or anything, but Zara gave us an exclusive look at its 2019 Summer Studio collection imagery, and we're kind of freaking out. To clarify (and also continue to brag), by exclusive, we mean no one else has seen the photos yet except for you and me and, well, Zara. This week, the retailer held press appointments here in New York for editors and influencers to preview the collection in person, and let me tell you, photos don't quite do it justice. However, I will admit that the exclusive campaign imagery you're about to see comes pretty close.

Zara's Studio collections are standalone collections that debut globally twice a year. This summer's collection, launching on site March 22, was inspired by the desert, incorporating organic textures, handcrafted details, and earthy color palettes. "It tells the story of a spirited, elegant traveler, mixing her modern European style with pieces found in the souk," the brand told us. Everything from breezy kaftans to effortless dresses can be found among this curation of products, and if that isn't a summer mood, I don't know what is.

Ahead, take a first look at Zara's Summer 2019 Studio collection images, photographed by Steven Meisel with creative direction by Baron Baron, available to shop on March 22.
