Angelina Jolie Just Wore Fall's #1 Dress Trend to the Airport

Dressing for the airport is always a conundrum. I'm tempted to wear pajamas, but I feel slightly embarrassed to be out in public if I'm dressed too casually. On the other hand, who exactly am I trying to impress? It's not like I have a board meeting to attend! Thankfully, there's definitely a middle ground between extreme comfort and rigid professionalism. Angelina Jolie, for instance, seems to have mastered the art of airport dressing in her latest look photographed at JFK Airport in New York.

Jolie traveled in fall's number one dress trend: the maxi dress. Not only is it in style, but it's also a super-comfortable and airy option for flying long distances. After all, germaphobes like me hate to wear short hemlines for fear of my legs touching the airplane seat! Scroll down to see Angelina Jolie's newest airport outfit and re-create the look.

Associate Director, Fashion News

Erin got her start as aBest Knockoff Luxury Clothing intern over 13 years ago—back when the site only published a single story per day. (Who What Wear has since increased that number twentyfold.) She graduated magna cum laude from USC, which is how she ended up moving to Los Angeles from her hometown of San Diego. In college, she also interned at Refinery29, where she was promoted to editorial assistant and then assistant editor. After nearly three years at R29, she came back to WWW in 2016, where she currently holds the title of Associate Director of Fashion News (as well as the unofficial title of resident royal expert—in case you haven't noticed her numerous Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton stories). She spends her days trying to incorporate her idols, Anna Wintour and Roger Federer, into as many stories as possible. Outside of work, she loves tennis, classic rock, traveling, and smothering her dog with affection.
