Anna Wintour Just Declared Her Favorite Met Gala Look
Anna Wintour has spoken. In a new segment on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, the Vogue editor-in-chief revealed her favorite outfit of the entire Met Gala—and it's not what you'd expect.
"My very favorite was Father James Martin, who is a Jesuit priest who was advising us on the exhibition," Wintour told Colbert. "He came in his appropriate robes, and apparently all night people were coming up to him and saying 'I really like the fact you came as a sexy priest; you look so authentic.' So that was my favorite." How amazing is that?
Martin then responded with the best tweet ever: "Thanks Ms. Wintour! For the record: black suit by Jos. A. Bank, clerical shirt by Almy Clergy Apparel." Good to know. Scroll down to watch her full interview and see Father James Martin's look, as well as the other two looks she discussed with Colbert on the show.
