This Easy and Affordable Two-Piece Outfit Is All Fashion People Will Want to Wear This Summer

Linen co-ords always look chic and polished, and there's one brand that does them better than anywhere else.

Three influencers in Arket linen co-ords. The first in a bright red linen co-ord with an orange bag and orange shoes, the second in a blue and white striped linen co-ord carrying an straw bag and wearing black sunglasses and the last in an all black co-ord with yellow shoes and a bright orange crossbody bag.

If at any point in these early weeks of spring and summer you’ve found yourself standing in front of your wardrobe wondering what to wear, you’re not alone. I often catch myself surveying my closet in the mornings searching for an outfit that ticks all the boxes of being comfy, stylish, warm-weather appropriate and polished. It’s a tough ask, and I’m not a dress person, which immediately makes the search a lot harder. But recently, I came across an outfit formula that I think fits all these requirements, so of course, I had to share it with you.

Arket’s linen collection is known for being one of the best on the high street, and since I tend to avoid dresses, the relaxed two parts provide a perfect alternative. This year, though, it’s the co-ords in particular that have impressed me, and I’m not alone. I’ve spotted so many influencers and fashion people on my social media feeds that have been wearing them non-stop like me. The 100% linen fabric means they’re great in the heat, and the two-piece is an easy all-in-one outfit to throw on in the mornings but also looks polished. All you need is a great pair of sandals, a tank top and a straw bag, and you’ve got a look that works for so many summer occasions—from weekends in the city to beach days on holiday.

Since Arket is so smart at knowing what really works, it's made its linen co-ords in not one but seven colour options. Some have long- and short-sleeve shirt options, and there are shorts or trousers to choose from too. I’ve already started building up my collection since I already know I’m going to love pulling these instant outfits out year after year.
