I Just Did a Fall Banana Republic Haul—These 10 Pieces Were By Far My Favorites
Welcome to The Great Try-On. We're gearing up for fall, and that includes freshening up our wardrobes with some new pieces. We got to try on some of the best fall pieces from some of your favorite brands and documented it all from our own personal "dressing rooms" so that you can see how they actually look IRL. We hope that our photos and candid reviews will help you shop for fall wardrobe builders and trend-forward pieces that you'll wear over and over this season and beyond.
Banana Republic, once thought of as the mall brand from yesteryear, has made a comeback, and the fashion crowd can't get enough. Ever since Banana Republic's recent rebrand, I have been shocked and impressed with the pieces it has been putting out. Think elevated, high-quality, timeless, expensive-looking pieces that don't actually break the bank, especially when you use our Banana Republic promo codes. If you like to look rich, then this brand is for you. I'm seeing so many pieces that could pass as Theory or The Row. I have been singing the praises of Banana Republic all summer long and have decided now that fall has arrived, it's time for me to get my hands on some of the pieces I have been ogling for months now. I did a fall haul and fell fully in love with 10 fall pieces that I quite literally can't stop talking about.
Keep scrolling to take a peek into my Banana Republic fall haul and see which 10 pieces I'm obsessing over.
Banana Republic The Perfect Shirt and The Slim Jeans
My Review: For me, this is the ultimate five-minute office-day look. For starters, you can really never go wrong with a classic button-down shirt. Banana Republic calls its version The Perfect Shirt, and I'm not going to lie, it lives up to its name. The fit is unmatched and is still breathable, so it's a great option for layering. Now that fall is here, I am keeping my eye out for all of the great layering pieces I can get, and this shirt is one of them. I'm imaging it under the perfect cashmere crew-neck. But what I really can't shut up about are these jeans. I have been on the hunt for a good pair of skinny jeans now that tall-boot season has arrived, and these ones are 10/10. This mid-dark wash looks so elevated in person. I have already worn them five times since they became mine. If you're looking for the perfect pair of slim jeans for fall, look no further.

Banana Republic Luna Cashmere Polo and Sienna Wide-Leg Pants
My Review: This Luna Cashmere Polo is the gift that keeps on giving. I wish you guys could feel the fabric through the screen—it's next-level cozy. A good black sweater can be hard to find. You don't want it to look boring or basic, so opting for a sweater with a polo neckline is the perfect chic touch. I can already tell this sweater is going to be getting tons of wear. These trousers scream quiet luxury and are so versatile. I can think of so many different ways to style them all fall and into the winter months. This is another look I'm reaching for when I have an office day and want to look put together in under five minutes (which is usually every time I go into the office).

Banana Republic Astrid Cashmere Sweater Polo and Vasto Italian Wool Midi Skirt
My Review: Can you give a cashmere sweater five stars? Because if you can, the Astrid Cashmere Sweater Polo gets all five. It's so comfortable and totally looks like it lives in the closet of a rich person. If you were wondering how to wear white or off-white during the fall months, this is how. I paired this sweater with the oh-so-chic and on-trend Italian wool midi skirt that totally looks like it could be a designer pick. Just add ballet flats and gold jewelry.

Banana Republic Lynoette Strapless Crepe Midi Dress
My Review: Stop whatever it is you're doing and run, don't walk, to Banana Republic's site and buy this dress. I am completely obsessed. Now I absolutely love a good black dress, but this one is something special. When I put it on, I instantly felt chicer and more elevated. Everything about it is so on point, from the neckline to the added pockets to the perfect hemline cutting right at the ankle, making this dress the perfect one to wear when you also want to show off a new pair of pumps. If you're going for a classic vibe, then this is going to be the dress for you. I plan on wearing this dress to a dinner out in NYC.

Banana Republic The Racer Back Midi Dress and Campo Leather Belt
My Review: I don't know about you, but I have been absolutely loving olive green for fall, and this dress is just too good not to buy. The open back adds a little sultry touch, making this a great date-night option. You can style this look similarly to how I did by adding gold jewelry and a belt or wear it on its own. This dress is a heavy hitter and can definitely handle itself without a ton of bells and whistles. This dress also happens to come in a navy blue shade that looks equally chic. If you want to make this dress work for the office, that's totally an option. Just add a chocolate brown or black blazer to make this dress a little more professional.

Banana Republic Timeless Trench Coat
My Review: Looking for the perfect, expensive-looking but not actually expensive trench coat? Then it's your lucky day. Banana Republic has outdone itself with this trench coat. It's the perfect neutral shade. Imagine pairing this coat with a cherry-red knit. Stunning. New York City has been particularly rainy lately, so I have been wearing this jacket nonstop. It's not necessarily lightweight, but I wouldn't describe it as a heavy jacket either. If you're looking to stay warm, I would pair this jacket with a sweater or hoodie.
