I've Tried Thousands of Luxury Perfumes—Nothing Is as Timeless as This £28 Fragrance
Elizabeth Arden's White Tea perfume is one of the most subtly beautiful scents in my entire collection.

I don't want to sound like a snob, but I have tried thousands of expensive fragrances over the years. Thanks to my job as a beauty editor, I've been sent some of the best perfumes in the world, from the likes of Chanel, Dior, Guerlain and more. There's no denying that these scents are worth the luxury price tag; however, there's one, slightly more affordable fragrance that I believe has just as much timeless appeal. The fragrance in question? Elizabeth Arden's White Tea perfume.
This is one of those more under-the-radar scents that, once you try it, you can never go back. It boasts this undeniable creamy freshness that has everyone commenting on how good you smell, and the best bit is that it only costs £28. Yes, the perfume is currently on sale at Amazon, so if you've been thinking about giving it a go, now is your time. Below, I've included everything I love about this fragrance so that you can see why it's a beauty-editor favourite.
Elizabeth Arden White Tea Perfume Review
The Scent
One of the reasons this particular scent is so timeless is the fact that it can be worn all year round. The musky, skin-like quality makes it ideal for daytime wear, but it can easily transition into an evening fragrance, too. It opens with powdery rose notes, before the green, tea-like scent of mate leaves starts to come through. It feels fresh and gentle on the skin, like a soft cashmere jumper that's just come out of the wash.
This softness is soon elevated by tonka bean, amberwood and musk. This combination of notes creates a warm, comforting, somewhat sensual aroma that makes you want to nuzzle your nose into this perfume over and over again. Seriously, I'm wearing the fragrance right now, and I can't stop smelling my clothes. This might not be a statement scent, but it carries whispers of wealth whenever I spritz it.
The Bottle
For £28, I'm always so impressed by how chic this perfume looks. Housed in a clean white bottle with a deep gold lid, this never looks out of place when standing next to my more expensive fragrances. You can purchase the scent in a 30ml, 50ml and 100ml size, but my personal favourite is the 50ml, as it lasts a long time but is still small enough to throw in your handbag when you need it.
The Verdict
As you can probably tell by now, I'm a big fan of this perfume. If you like loud fragrances, then this is definitely not for you, but if fresh, clean, skin-like scents are your thing, I recommend trying this out straight away. Not only does it smell luxurious, but it looks chic, is a great price, and will see you through all kinds of occasions. Yep, Elizabeth Arden never misses.
