I like to apply it directly to the hair when I'm doing a slicked-back style, then go over with a hair brush or comb to get my desired finish. Yes, it does leave a bit of residue in the hair, but what I like about this is that it doesn't make it look greasy. Instead, it has a creamy formula packed with vegan waxes and plant butters.
