64 mm oval brush: The large oval brush volumises and creates a classic blow-dry bounce from root to tip. It's the same attachment on the popular One-Step Volumizer, with a ceramic titanium coating to ensure smoothness. The shape makes it easy to get into the roots for extra volume.

38 mm round brush: The ceramic coated bristled round brush is ideal for shaping layers and styling fringes and refreshing your style in between wash days.

Paddle brush: Smooths and detangles for a straight and sleek effect. The large brush makes it easy to dry and smooth large sections of hair quickly.

Root-drying concentrator: This handy tool has comb teeth that aid drying at the roots before styling while adding volume.

The Round Brush

The round brush features very soft bristles that polish, shape and add shine to your hair as you twist it through the lengths. I like to use it when my hair is about 80-90% dry to help shape my layers. However, this would be ideal for using in between hair wash days to re-style your fringe or add a flick to your layers. I'm obsessed with the smooth shine and silkiness it left through my lengths.

The Vented Curler

This vented curling tong is just like the traditional curling wands you get, except this one blows hot air to dry and style simultaneously. I'm someone who usually prefers a curling wand as I find the clamping tool of the tong a little fiddly. However, after a bit of practice, I was left with really nice curls that lasted well over a couple of days, so it was worth the effort.

The oval brush is the same iconic attachment of the original One-Step Volumizer, and I was impressed. If you want volume and bounce worthy of a supermodel blowout, then you'll love this attachment. The oval shape makes it really easy to get right to the root, while the generous size allows you to dry and style larger sections of hair more quickly. It's a major plus if, like me, you have very long hair, thick lengths or lots of hair. After rough-drying, this allowed me to style my hair in less than 15 minutes.

The Paddle Brush

The paddle brush might be one of my favourite attachments. The large size means it makes light work of drying and smoothing at the same time. Plus, the mixture of hard and soft bristles creates just enough tension to smooth and add shine as you glide it through your hair. It didn't pull or snag and left my hair feeling really silky with a noticeable shine. I wouldn't say it left my hair poker straight but rather added a smoothness without removing the natural soft wave in my hair.

The Root Concentrator

Lastly, you have the root concentrator, which might not sound the sexiest of the attachments, but it's very useful. My main bugbear with wet-to-dry stylers is that I always have to use my hairdryer to dry the roots first (as it's sometimes tricky to get them totally dry with a round brush, for example). But, this attachment means I don't have to get my hair dryer out and makes it easy to dry my roots before using the other attachments to finish. It's also useful for adding volume at the roots and smoothing any flyaways.

The Verdict

I'm seriously impressed with this wet-to-dry hair styler, and I've been reaching for it a lot to dry and style my hair. I think it's great value for money to have all of the different hair attachments to help you create different looks. If you already own the original One-Step Volumiser, you might not need this hair tool. However, if you want to have lots of options without having to buy several separate hot tools, then this is a very worthy investment that won't make your bank account cry. It not only speeds up drying and styling into one step, but I found it did the job just as well as some of the more expensive hot brushes and hair tools I've tried throughout my career. Sure, it doesn't feel quite a premium as hair tools that cost upwards of £200, but, for the price, you really can't knock it. As with any hair tool, this can get very hot, so you should protect your hair with a good heat protection spray before styling to shield and protect your hair against damage.
