Cashmere Eyes! HD Skin! Espresso Lips! 4 Glam Makeup Looks to Copy RN

Whenever there's a red carpet, award show, or gala, the outfits get all the press. I love flowy gowns and million-dollar jewelry as much as anyone else, but as a beauty enthusiast, I think the makeup looks deserve just as much attention. After May's most famous gala, full-glam looks are on our minds, especially for editors Alyssa Brascia, an ultra-creative makeup master, and Sabrina Talbert, a beauty and skincare connoisseur. They've each tested countless brands but chose SHEGLAM as the centerpiece for the glamorous makeup looks they created in honor of this year's gala. Keep reading to discover how to re-create these red carpet beauty looks.
"My first look was a moody, soft-focus take on full glam. The Jazy Jigsaw Eyeshadow Palette ($8) was my vice. I love using plummy shades to accentuate my hazel eyes. I began with a swipe of the mauve taupe shade on my lid and then dusted the shimmery black shade along my lashline to create a whisper of a wing. I pulled this look together with a touch of the Buttery Bliss Blush Stick ($7) in Hush Hush for a gorgeous nude-pink flush. When it comes to red carpet prep, I'll never skip one of these blushes again—the dreamy formula blends beautifully and leaves a veil of color so perfect on your skin it almost looks airbrushed. I'm being greedy and keeping every shade to myself. To finish, I lined my lips with the Bold Booster Plumping Lip Liner ($5) in Barely There for that early aughts pop-star pout. Honestly, the longevity and creamy blendability of every one of these products shook me." — Alyssa Brascia, associate beauty editor
"On a day-to-day basis, I'm a no-foundation girl, and I wanted to create an evening look that was simple, sophisticated, and easy to do on the go. I started by applying the Like Magic 12HR Full Coverage Concealer ($8) and filling in my brows with the Insta-Fill Brow Pencil ($3). I then went in with the Glow Bloom Highlighter ($7) in Tea Cake on my cheekbones, temples, and nose, but for extra glow, you can also place it just above your Cupid's bow, at the top of your brow bone, and on the inner corners of your eyes. Next came the eyes: After priming, I went in with the Jazy Jigsaw Eyeshadow Palette ($8), opting for light browns and taking a slightly darker shade to the outer corner and under my bottom lashes. Lastly, I went back in with highlighter on the inner corners of my eyes." — Sabrina Talbert, assistant beauty editor
"My second look was all about the skin and lips. I started with a clean base with the Skin Magnet Foundation Stick ($10) and Like Magic 12HR Full Coverage Concealer ($8). This concealer has a great texture, but the doe foot can deposit a lot of product when applied straight on your face. For a more diffused look with less product, try dabbing the applicator on the back of your hand and stippling your fluffy concealer brush into it. This combo blended like a dream and lasted all day—seriously, I got compliments on my complexion from 8:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. I then went in with the Buttery Bliss Blush Stick ($7) in Mulled Wine—a gorgeous cranberry shade that melted into my skin like butter. This hue worked as a velvety blush and warm contour that perfectly complemented my next step: a slightly overlined, ombré umber lip using the Bold Booster Plumping Lip Liner ($5) in Mocha Muse. SHEGLAM's price-to-quality ratio is almost unheard of. I waited until the end to look at the prices of each product and had to pick my jaw up off the ground. The staying power, color payoff, and application of each formula far surpasses its price." — Brascia
"I wanted my second look to feel a bit warmer and more bronze, like an amber sunset. I first applied the Like Magic 12HR Full Coverage Concealer ($8) around my eyes, nose, chin, and in between my brows. From there, I used the Skin Magnet Foundation Stick ($10) all over my face. Once I had an even base, I applied the Sun Beam Shimmer Liquid Bronzer ($6) toward the center of my cheekbones and along my temples to create definition. It's super pigmented, but it blends beautifully, so I recommend starting with a small amount of product and slowly building up the intensity. After filling in my brows, I reached for the Jazy Jigsaw Eyeshadow Palette ($8). This time, I applied warmer browns that had a pink undertone on my outer corners and kept my inner corners light using a silver, shimmery shade to make my eyes pop. Finally, I applied that same brown shade under my bottom lashes. Overall, I was so amazed by the lasting power of these products. I applied my makeup at 10:00 a.m., and by 8:00 p.m., I felt like my makeup almost looked better. And as someone who has noticeable pores, I was amazed by how effective the foundation and concealer were at giving me a smooth, blurred base. It truly makes you feel photo ready. There are so many expensive products on the market, and while those can be fun to play with, the quality of these products makes you wonder why you would splurge when you can get all your essentials and more for a fraction of the cost." — Talbert
