Bridgerton Star Yerin Ha Swears By This Pore-Minimizing Toner for Glowy Glass Skin
Both on and off screen, Australian actress Yerin Ha has the ethereal glow of an angel. TBH, it was all I could notice while delving into season four of Bridgerton. I managed to binge all available episodes the day after it came out and I couldn't get enough of Ha's character Sophie Baek: the courageous maid reconnecting with her own self-worth. While this aspect of the season's plot is incredibly important, as a beauty editor, I also I deem Ha's next-level glass skin equally as important and worthy of investigation. I hoped she would reveal at least a few of her secrets to us mere mortals. Well, ask and you shall receive.
Ha decided to bless us with an episode of Vogue's Beauty Secrets and she spilled all the tea. Even before I watched the video, I immediately clocked Ha as a Korean skincare girlie. Her signature glow is totally on par with the glassy sheen that K-beauty products are known to deliver. Sure enough, I was right. Ha told Vogue that she got into skincare at a young age. "I would go to Korea once a year to visit my grandparents," she said. "Korea has really affordable skincare products and I was always buying a three-step routine for like $10 before inflation became a thing!"
That habit stuck with her. She still uses a few cult-loved Korean products in her routine along with some other powerhouse skincare brands that are 100% beauty editor-approved. For all of Ha's skincare and makeup favorites, keep on scrolling—her everyday edit is below.
Glow Recipe's pore-tightening tonic is one of her secrets to glowy skin. This cult-loved toner hydrates and exfoliates with watermelon extract, cactus water, and a blend of PHAs and BHAs that gently decongest the skin without causing irritation.
She describes this serum-mask as having a weird jelly consistency, but it's packed with a whopping 30% of vitamin A, C, E and hyssop extract to give a glass skin glow. She also uses it with her gua shua tool to boost circulation, de-puff, and encourage lymphatic drainage on the face. When she has time, she'll really go get a "skin workout" with FaceGym.
Ha says that like many of us, she learned to do her makeup on YouTube. Although she says she's "not that girlie" when it comes to a flawless execution (same), she keeps her base layer fresh and simple with Armani Beauty's Golden Hour Lightweight Skin Tint.
