I Prepare for Sephora's Savings Event Like It's a Marathon—Here's What's in My Cart
It's that time! Sephora's annual Savings Event kicks off today and boy, am I ready. I'm thankful to be a Sephora Rouge member because starting today through April 15, Rouge Insiders will receive 20% off beauty products. Not a Rouge member? Don't worry. VIB members will receive 15% off and Insider members will receive 10% off from April 9 to 15. Just use the magic code YAYSAVE. Additionally, all Sephora Collection products will be 30% off for all members.
Honestly, since I consider myself a professional shopper, I've been preparing for this for weeks. My cart is ready to burst and I thought I'd share what's in it. If you need a little buying inspo and are in the mood to shop, take a peek at what I'm grabbing below.
I recently got this super-hydrating lip-oil balm from Herbivore and immediately went on Sephora's website to buy three more. I never want to run out—it's so hydrating and smells incredible. A blend of linoleic acid, five natural oils, and shea butter lock in that moisture. I don't need to apply it as often, so I'm being extra economical by buying a few during Sephora's Savings Event.
I was beyond excited to discover that one of my all-time favorite skincare brands Dieux Skin is now available at Sephora. This calming antioxidant serum is one of my favorites from the line (besides the Air Angel Cream) because it instantly calms my irritated skin and leaves it with a subtle, dewy glow.
I always use this opportunity to stock up on fragrance favorites. Libre is one of my favorite perfumes with beautiful notes of orange blossom, lavender, and musk.
I completely swear by this body treatment from Nécessaire. I use this a few times a week and my skin has never been softer. It contains a blend of retinol and AHAs to exfoliate skin on the body. It is a bit strong for sensitive skin, but mine adjusted after a few days.
I love all of the celebrity aesthetician Shani Darden's products, but her triple acid at-home peel is truly one of her best. My aesthetician also recommended using this between office visits.
Rare Beauty's new powder blush is such a treat. It's almost a highlight and blush in one, which I love.
Normally, I'm not a huge fan of matte lipsticks, but Merit's is so good. It's surprisingly hydrating for a matte formula since it contains hyaluronic acid and sesame seed extract. The shades offered are also gorgeous.
This combo curling iron is amazing. You can truly customize it by buying different attachments (sold separately) that snap onto the base.
As far as detox masks go, this cult-loved Caudalie one does the trick. My skin does get dehydrated easily so I only bust out this mask once every few weeks, but when I do, the results are epic. It clears up stubborn zits in a flash.
If you haven't tried anything from bodycare brand Soft Services yet, this is your PSA to do so. Like, right now! This creamy body lotion is lightweight and never leaves you greasy but also provides a super-gentle exfoliation to combat any bumps. It's a favorite of mine along with the brand's Comfort Cleanse Body Wash.
This classic scent from Chanel will always have a special place in my heart. Notes of Turkish rose, patchouli, and orange combine beautifully to create a sweet, soft, and floral aroma that's totally unique and delicious.
The sales are always a good time to stock up on this cult-loved lash-enhancing serum from Grande Cosmetics. I've used this one myself and can confirm that it produces major results with consistent use.
You might already be a fan of Olaplex's iconic No. 3 formula, but don't sleep on the brand's intensive moisture mask either. It strengthens, repairs, and adds hydration to dry, damaged strands using Olaplex's bond-building technology.
I love Make Up For Ever's cream palettes because they're great to travel with. It truly contains three plus makeup products in one and you can create so many looks with it.
IMO, cream eye shadows don't get enough love. This Charlotte Tilbury formula is a favorite of mine. The pigment payoff is next-level and the shades are just stunning. I'm using this Sephora sale as an opportunity to stock up on colors I don't own yet.
I'm a huge fan of GHD tools. Yes, the brand's offerings are a bit pricier than your average hair tool, but they're super high quality and that's what sales are for, right!? This one-inch flat iron is highly rated by Sephora shoppers and styles hair ultra-quick.
This YSL mascara is second to none. If you've read any of my other articles, you know I talk about this one a lot. The curl, lift, and length this mascara offers is next-level. A lot of mascaras also claim that they don't flake or smudge, but this one actually means it! I've never had raccoon eyes after wearing this for long periods of time.
Honestly, I can never have enough lip oils in my collection, and this viral Dior one is popular for a reason. It's so hydrating and gives your lips the most luscious, plump look.
This concealer is great for my dehydrated skin. It never dries out my under-eye area like some formulas do, plus it blends so beautifully.
