As a beauty editor, I'm an expert on, well, beauty. I constantly test new skincare, hair, and makeup products. I interview top dermatologists and hairstylists. I research ingredients both old and new. However, I'll never claim to be a know-it-all. There are multiple products, trends, and techniques I initially wrote off as nothing more than passing fads only to be humbled a short time later when I found myself either appreciating them or taking part in them myself.

I knew I couldn't be the only one who'd made an incorrect judgment in the past. That's why I ask my fellow beauty editors for the products they snubbed (at first) but now can't live without.
