Bella Hadid Just Endorsed the Controversial Denim Trend People Are Dreading
Bella Hadid has proven time and again that she can pretty much wear anything and look cool doing it. The same doesn't really go for all of us, though, which is why certain trends become controversial. One of the most controversial denim trends in the game is low-rise jeans. As you know, they had their heyday in the early 2000s but were later replaced by more flattering styles—i.e., high-waisted jeans. But celebs and the fashion world have been hinting at their return, and although it's been met with some (well, a lot of) resistance, it hasn't really hit the mainstream again.
As you know, Bella Hadid's influence on what the world wears is pretty strong. Time will tell if it's strong enough to make people embrace jeans that hit below their belly buttons again, but there's no denying that she wears them well. On a side note, her sweater is a $60 Mango find. That may be an easier pill to swallow.
