We've reached the point where designer jeans cost $250 on average. I would argue that I've tried some jeans that are worth it for one reason or another, but that's a significant investment to make. It's also not a necessary investment, especially given the existence of the brand I'm here to discuss: Other Stories.

Finding jeans that fit well, are of high quality, are on-trend without being too trendy, and are relatively inexpensive is somewhat of a tall order, even with the dozens and dozens of denim brands out there. But  Other Stories has succeeded in making all of these attributes possible with its denim collection—including the affordable price point. All of its jeans ring in at $99 or less, but given how great they are, they could easily cost more (but don't tell them that!).

I already owned a couple of pairs of Other Stories jeans and was very impressed. But there are plenty of styles by the brand that I hadn't tried yet, so they sent me some of the chicest pairs to show you. Below, you'll find yours truly modeling seven pairs of Other Stories' best jeans, all of which prove how good its denim collection is. Scroll for my reviews and pics of the gems I tried.

First up: puddle jeans! If you want a pair that's both slouchy and high-waisted, this one is perfect. I'm pretty short at 5'4", so they were extra puddly on me, but I liked it and won't be taking a trip to the tailor. The rich blue wash added a bit of polish.

This is the brand's new low-rise style (hence the name), and it was also the stretchiest pair that I tried. I find that I need to go up a size (or two if they're rigid) in Other Stories jeans. I could've gone up two sizes in these for a more relaxed fit, but I have a feeling they'll stretch out a bit. All in all, I think I'm a low-rise convert thanks to these.

This is a classic straight-leg pair. They have just a hint of stretch and hit right at the ankle, making them a good choice to wear with flats or sneakers, in my opinion. These would be a great choice for someone who wants to move on from skinny jeans but isn't quite ready for the baggy look.

These were really fun, but they're not a pair I'd recommend sizing up in, as they're very (intentionally) loose. They're great for wearing with crop tops since you'll definitely want to show off the cute waistband.

I've owned these jeans for a while, so I can definitely vouch for them. They have a mid-rise, they're 100% cotton, and the leg style is medium-wide. I went up two sizes in these to get the perfect fit.

This is such a good high-waisted, straight-leg pair in a classic blue wash. I think everyone should have a pair like this in their closet. They have a bit of stretch for comfort, which is always nice for a high-waisted pair like this. I'd wear them with flats or heels.

This was my first pair of Other Stories jeans, and it's become one of my favorites. They're 100% cotton but somehow comfortable enough to fly in. (Take my word—I've done it.)
